This website is about my journey into understanding an Alphasmart Neo 2 word processor. This goes from 1st acquiring it to installing Neo Manager on my Windows 10 laptop, using it as a USB keyboard, and even installing a BASIC programming applet to enable me to write some BASIC programs.
I acquired my Neo 2 from the recycling website WarpIt:
This is a website primarily used by educational institutions to recycle unwanted items.
This was part of a batch of Neo’s and Neo 2’s being recycled by a school in Edinburgh. After paying for postage, a box arrived on my doorstep.
